Memory Resting in Stories
The nest is a popular subject matter in my art. The symbolism is varied. With this painting I thought of each twig as its own historic note from life. The egg being a memory, cradled in a bed of stories. What will hatch? Will it be a source of incredible inspiration?
When we arrive upon a nest in the wilderness we step slowly. Careful not to disturb the contents regardless if it is filled or empty. The object is a reminder of our home, our fragility and strength. No matter the rain or snow, spring will be here, new nests will be built then found.
Prints are available of this artwork.
I use Fine Art America for most of my print needs. I have worked with this team for few years and I am grateful for the opportunity to share my art through their incredible craftsmanship. They offer many options in custom artistic prints. You can place an order for a reproduction of my art on wood, stretched canvas and paper. They also have wonderful framing options, which is perfect for that perfect gift to a loved one or yourself. When you purchase one, please feel free to let me know. I would love to hear from you.
